Emerson's Truth, Emerson's Wisdom

The purpose of this blog is to provide a forum for discussion of the Transcendental philosophy of Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882). The particular focus here is on how Emerson's philosophy can be seen to address the problems of modern life, both social and personal. The blog is designed to bridge the gap between traditional academic scholarship and real-world self-help and therapeutics.
